In recent years, Lauren has also studied new instruments and genres to fuel her creative practice, such as songwriting with ukulele and jazz & blues with the fiddle. She especially enjoys collaborating with Columbus-based duo All Powerful Sungoddess.
Performance
Lauren is a vocalist, pianist, and violinist who performs in both classical and commercial productions.
Lauren often performs in the Central Ohio area. She has performed with Converging Arts Columbus, the Central Ohio Hot Jazz Society, and the Sacred Music Institute.
She has performed in numerous opera scenes and workshops in Ohio, Kentucky, and Italy. She originated the role of Elizabeth in Justin Giarrusso's A World Apart with NANOWorks. She has portrayed both dramatic and comedic roles in operas & workshops by Vaughan Williams, Adamo, Menotti, Mozart, Verdi, and more.
From 2012-2014, Lauren toured with internationally-renowned artist Tajci and manager/producer Matthew Cameron, performing in 100+ concerts as a violinist and vocalist and assisting with concert logistics.
