Hello!

Thanks for stopping by. I'm so happy you're here!

Connecting with people is one of my favorite parts of making music. Through traveling, performing, creating, and teaching, I have found community and friendship all over the world — Listeners who find magic, joy, catharsis, and more in my music. Fine musicians who share their talent. Composers who create works that inspire me. Teachers who invite me into their classrooms. Families who open their homes and hearts. Children and adults who join me to grow in their own artistry.

Planning Travels

While we're here, we can all experience connection, beauty, craft, and the joy and work of the journey.

Please enjoy my music, send me a note (I love friends I haven't met yet), or come create with me!

Let's make something marvelous together, shall we?

                                               — Lauren

Sono convinto che l'arte debba essere un atto d'amore.

I am convinced that art must be an act of love.

I am composing a new work for side-by-side string orchestras. This work combines high school, junior high, and middle school players.

In collaboration with Claire Allen (Washington D.C.), I wrote several new works with and for her intermediate students in her modified Suzuki studio. I hope these engaging works will be played by many students and professionals alike!
